Do you...work in the utilities sector with responsibility for excavations
Are you... a contractor working in a utility industry? If so, we want to frame you!
|
The ExFrame is an essential weapon in the battle to bring both a systematised
and cost efficient approach to the excavation and reinstatement of holes in the highway. Pipeline Services would like
to work with you to develop a systems approach to this type of work and remove much of the scope for human error and
poor judgement when excavating and reinstating in the public highway, particularly for work of a repetitive nature.
Pipeline Services's ExFrame has been developed by experienced contractors in the utilities sector and has already demonstrated success with:
Facilitates excavation to the required depth within controlled dimensions and prevents the need for the cutting back of reinstatements on completion of the job.
Locates surface furniture and ensures compliance with the requirements of the New Roads and Streetworks Act by providing guides and levels for backfilling and permanent reinstatement.
Allows the gangs to either carry out permanent reinstatement themselves or, alternatively, one of the Safety Covers provided is inserted in the ExFrame and the team moves onto their next job. The gang may remove all Chapter 8 signs and boards before moving from the site. A reinstatement gang would then arrive on site, setting out chapter 8 requirements and complete base and wearing course with no further cutting back.
ExFrames are currently available in three standard sizes to meet the requirements of repetitive repair, maintenance and installation works by all utilities. However, non-standard sizes can be produced to meet your individual needs.
